On Monday 1/10/12 two tricycles were handed over to two physically challenged victims from Mwanza region and Musoma region respectively. Mrs Asha Chacha of Nyakato area in Mwanza area received tricycle no 131 from the Councillor of Nyamagana ward Hon. Bhiku Kotecha.

Mrs Asha chacha’s both legs got paralysed after delivering a second child and since then she physically challenged. Both her children are schooling in a government school in Nyakato area. Mr Shabani Samwell the second recipient got tricycle no 132 and hails from Musoma area. His problem is his one leg suddenly got numb and was no more active. He is tailor by profession.

For both recipients, it was a dream to get these tricycles that will make their lives much easier. They prayed and thanked donors for their generosity and timely assistance.

These tricycles were kindly donated by the women’s group of DUA E NUDBA in Toronto Canada. This group is one of the best supporters of TDCF. We convey our sincere appreciation for their support. During this ceremony, 348 primary school desks were also handed over to 9 different schools of the region surrounding Mwanza including Mwanza.
