Shallow well no 187 was handed over at Chamula village in Ngudu area in Kwimba district. This shallow well was donated in the loving memory of Late Indumati Gunjal – “A FRIEND AND A GUIDE.” According to the village chairman, this shallow well will serve 200 families leaving around it. The villagers had to go very long distances to fetch clean and safe water prior to the digging of this shallow well. This well was handed over today on Friday 2/11/12. In total today 4 shallow wells were handed over to four different villages in Kwimba District. Our attention was drawn by the MP of this constituency Hon. Shanif Hirani pointing out this problem of the villagers, that we have been able to solve by digging and building a completely new well.

The villagers prayed and thanked the donors for their timely assistance since heavy rains have started and without this shallow well, they could not get clean and safe water near their homes.
